Practical Environmental Training Course

This is part of our School for Environment Program to deliver practical environmental training to a group of students currently enrolled on a Level 2 Environment & Development Studies course at SPAT-C.  The course objective is to enable learners to understand and acquire knowledge of some of the main areas of activity that impinge on the national and international environment, including the impact of mass tourism, deforestation and human activity as well as the knowledge of the scopes for public participation in the preservation of the environment.  The existing course is classroom based but it is now proposed to provide additional outdoor practical sessions provided by Heeley City Farm Training to give learners a hands-on experience of local environmental and conservation work.
